Go Green

Edison has an active Go Green committee.  We aim to reduce our impact on the environment by providing programs and education that encourage our students and the school district to reduce, reuse, and recycle in school and at home.

We encourage students and parents to pack waste-free lunches. We provide a set of reusable plates, cups, and flatware to each class, and encourage room parents to plan waste-free parties.  We are constantly looking at ways to reduce the schools paper usage and other waste in the school. Every year Go Green aims to organize and provide an event (or events) to celebrate Earth Day on April 22nd.

Go Green provides a recycling cart for easy drop off of hard-to-recycle items, and a notice board for Go Green information.
